Use these lightweight, compact flanged ball valves as drop-in replacements for standard gate and plug valves to perform positive shut off. Unlike most other valves, they’re 100% lead-free since they don’t have any bronze parts. Valves feature a patented Teflon-fused ball that eliminates ball pitting, prevents buildup, lowers torque and stops premature valve failure. Since the Teflon is actually impregnated 0.008" into the metal, it won’t chip, wear or flake, making these valves perfect for applications where lime, calcium and sludge are a problem. 3700 series ball valves feature a 1-piece lever handle. This basic version cannot be actuated. The 4000 series features either a 2-piece lever handle or a manually-actuated gear, depending on model. Note: 4000 series models are available in stainless steel or ductile iron, or with a 2" square nut. They can also be equipped with electrically- or pneumatically-powered gear actuators.
