Spears cements and primers ensure a high-quality seal on all of your PVC and CPVC applications. Use them in conjunction with each other for best performance. All Spears cement and primer meet the requirements for low VOC emissions limits. Choose from a variety of products to best fit your application.
Spears primers are non-bodied and fast acting. Their aggressive action rapidly softens and dissolves the joining surfaces of PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. Use Spears PRIMER-68 for general applications. Use Spears PRIMER-70 for schedule 80 pipe, for pipe 12" and larger, and for cold weather applications. Both primers are available in your choice of clear or purple.
