These non-mercury direct acting float switches contain a single pole single throw (SPST) reed switch which changes state below and above 30° from horizontal. 316 stainless steel float housing is Teflon-coated to prevent grease and debris from collecting on the float—offers excellent chemical compatibility for many harsh applications. Extra-durable high-usage electrical cable connects the switch back to the control panel. Cable and switch are epoxy encapsulated in the float housing to form a watertight, impact-resistant unit.
