Super Vent Kit &Stand,Diverter Cutoff,and 20' of 12"Vent Hose
Description
- Converts your suction ventilator to a blow-in blower
- Use in areas where there is no adjacent manhole or in places with collapsed lines where there is no outside air source or limited outside air source
In some applications where a suction ventilator cannot be used, this is a great alternative. In the event of a collapsed line there is no way to pull air from another manhole due to air restrictions. Also, in places such as sealed vaults or manholes where there is a great distance or a much higher elevation, the standard Ripcord Suction Ventilator will not work. In those applications we have a great solution that will produce more airflow than any other standard blower on the market today.
The Ripcord Blow-in kits consist of a stand, vent diverter cutoff and 20 ft of hose. You simply place the diverter cutoff over the exhaust of the Ripcord Ventilator and clamp it down using the clamps supplied with the Blow-in Kit. Next, attach your hose to the diverter cutoff. Now place your blower on the stand. By placing the blower on the stand you allow the ventilator to pull air up through the bottom of the blower. The air is then redirected through the diverter into the hose and into the manhole. Place your hose directly into the work area.
With the blow-in kit attached, the standard Ripcord Blower will produce 2,100 cubic feet per minute (cfm) of air and uses standard 8" ducting. The Super Ripcord will produce 4,200 cfm of air and uses 12" ducting.
For a complete system: order your Ripcord blower & blow-in kit separately.
