This quick, reliable monitoring device alerts you if the chlorinating process has been interrupted when either of two critical situations arise. High Vacuum Alarm indicates that the chlorine gas supply has been interrupted because the chlorine supply is empty or the cylinder valve has been shut off. Low Vacuum Alarm indicates that the ejector is not producing sufficient vacuum to operate the system, or a leak has occurred somewhere in the system.
The vacuum sensor is housed in an oil-based chlorine protection device that connects to your feed system with 1/4" tubing between the ejector and rate valve. A separate NEMA 4X enclosure includes alarm indicator LEDs, an LED display for vacuum level, and controls for adjusting setpoints and time delay. Use output relays with an optional A/V alarm, or connect to other devices like an autodialer or SCADA.
