Use it to perform fixed wavelength measurements, live display, quantitative analysis, scanning and kinetics. Dual-beam optical geometry ensures each measurement is as accurate as possible, with reference beam correction on each data point. Local control increases speed and reliability for routine analysis—no PC required.
GENESYS 50 spectrophotometers deliver outstanding quality throughout the entire visible and UV spectrum, offering optimal resolution at strict bandwidth requirements. The high-intensity instant-on xenon lamp fires a pulse of light only when taking a measurement, providing a three- to five-year lamp lifespan. Enhanced wavelength scanning technology ensures quick collection of high-quality spectral data.
For ease of use, the GENESYS 50 features an intuitive menu that lets you start taking measurements immediately. The high-resolution 7" color touchscreen is compatible with gloves and easily wipes clean. The large sample compartment allows for access from the top, front or side; it features a removable, washable liner for easy cleanup. Compartment accommodates a 10-mm square sample cell—or purchase holders for rectangular cells and test tubes.
For precise results, GENESYS spectrophotometers perform verification testing to ensure wavelength accuracy, photometric accuracy, and stray light and instrument functionality using either the internal lamp or external calibration standards. Every verification report contains the time, date and instrument serial number to support GLP compliance. Performance testing intervals are user-settable to meet your SOP requirements. Data transfer and printing are easy via Ethernet or Wi-Fi (requires Wi-Fi dongle, sold separately). You can also print reports using the snap-on printer accessory (sold separately).
