Easily repair leaking joints and couplings or split bells with this encapsulation sleeve. There's no need to shut down the water main during repairs, which saves time and money.
This lightweight sleeve has pre-installed sidebar gaskets and an easy-to-install butt gasket on the end gland. You don't have to tighten the end gland bolts, which allows quicker assembly. There's no need to trim or cut the gaskets—simply piece each half together and tighten the stainless steel bolts for a quick, permanent repair.
One sleeve works on two different pipe classes (DIP, CIP, AC, HDPE and PVC diameters). Gasket meets ASTM D2000 standards. Body shell is constructed of cast ductile iron with a fusion-bonded, NSF-61 compliant epoxy coating. Bolts are high strength, low alloy per AWWA C111, ANSI A21./10/21.11.
