- Dual-scale gauge reads in psi and gpm
The USABlueBook hydrant flow gauge was engineered for ruggedness, ease of use and accuracy. It will fit any 2-1/2" NST hydrant nozzle opening without using tools. Simply turn down the thumbscrew until the jaws engage the thread of the nozzle; turn on the water and read the gauge.
The gpm readings are factored for 0.90 nozzle coefficient, which relates to friction factors that slow velocity. This value is valid for most new hydrants made today. USABlueBook hydrant flow gauges have precision-machined brass bodies and 4" liquid filled gauges with 1-1/2% full-scale accuracy. Dual-scale gauge reads 0 to 100 psi/1680 gpm.
