Vantage Pro2™ Cabled Weather Station
Description
- Advanced system offers more parameters than other weather stations
- View over 80 different graphs on a large backlit LCD screen
- Programmable alarms warn against dangerous weather conditions
Use the advanced Vantage Pro2 Weather Station for monitoring of temperature (inside and outside), humidity (inside and outside), wind (speed and direction), wind chill, heat index, dew point, rainfall, barometric pressure, sunrise/sunset times and moon phases. For the aspiring meteorologist, additional weather sensors are available as special order, including those that measure soil moisture, leaf wetness, solar and UV radiation, and more.
Weather stations consist of a console with large LCD screen, and a solar-powered integrated sensor suite (ISS) that runs up to eight months without sunlight. Cabled stations include 100' of cable to connect the ISS to the console. Wireless stations features a built-in transmitter in the ISS and a built-in receiver in the console.
Data is sent from the ISS to one or more wireless consoles (one included) every 2-1/2 seconds. View weather data, including over 80 different graphs for the last 24 hours, days or months of readings. Alarms are programmable to warn against whatever weather conditions you choose. Set up to 22 alarms with the standard sensors, and up to 31 with special-order sensors.
Use the WeatherLink® software system to create graphs, calculate average weather conditions, generate summaries, analyze trends, store data and post weather data on the web with special web templates. Order a wireless repeater for longer transmitting/receiving ranges. A rain collector heater is recommended for cold climates where you're measuring freezing rain and moisture content of snowfalls. Rain collector heater requires AC power and includes 50' of cable.
Includes: console, ISS, batteries and manual.
Note: Alternate voltages available. Contact USABlueBook for details.
