Use these labels to comply with NEC (National Electric Code) marking requirements for arc flash hazards. It is the employer's responsibility to ensure that any equipment installed after 2002 is clearly labeled. This includes control panels, switchboards, panel boards, meter socket enclosures and motor control centers. For older equipment, labeling must be applied only if any modifications or upgrades have taken place.
Labels are coated with Sign Muscle, which is impervious to paint thinner, turpentine, mineral spirits, naphtha, alcohol, bleach and household cleaners.
Either DANGER or WARNING headers are acceptable. 7" x 5" labels include write-in areas for equipment-specific information. All labels meet 2002 NEC 110.16 labeling requirements. 5 labels per pack.
