- For use with YSI ProDSS multiparameter meters
TAL-PC smart sensor detects the onset of an algae bloom as early as possible so you can plan your response. This dual-channel fluorescence-based sensor features one channel for chlorophyll a (found in all algae), and another for the pigment phycocyanin, which is commonly found in freshwater blue-green algae. Use it for sourcewater monitoring, beach monitoring or horizontal/vertical profiling for potentially toxic algae.
- Chlorophyll range/resolution: 0 100 RFU or 0 to 400 µg/L chl / 0.01 RFU or 0.01 µg/L chl
- Chlorophyll accuracy: linearity r2 ≥0.999 for Rhodamine WT across full range
- Phycocyanin range/accuracy: 0 100 RFU or 0 to 100 µg/L PC / 0.01 RFU or 0.01 µg/L PC
- Phycocyanin accuracy: linearity r2 ≥0.999 for Rhodamine WT across full range
