The single-input Endress+Hauser COM253 optical dissolved oxygen controller continuously measures DO levels in your aeration tanks, lagoons and effluent streams. The controller and sensor use advanced optical technology for long-term stable accurate measurements, even in areas with little or no flow.
Controller features four relays to control alarms, pumps, valves, timers or other devices. Direct manual relay operation lets you quickly access the contacts to troubleshoot any problems or for manual control. Scale the two galvanically isolated 4-20 mA outputs for DO concentration and temperature. Quickly calibrate to one point in air (100% saturation), or select another method such as Winkler calibration. Models are available with optional HART® or PROFIBUS® PA output communications. The COM253 is housed in a rugged NEMA 4X enclosure that can be wall or surface mounted. Pole mount using the optional post mounting kit. Order an optional immersion holder to easily insert the sensor into a basin. Or order the NPT coupling that adapts the sensor's G1 threads to 1-1/2" NPT thread for attachment to any 1-1/2" mounting kit or pipe.
