Seametrics® FT522 Water Use Flow Monitor/Totalizer
Description
- Alerts you when water use exceeds expected amount
The FT522 offers a simple way to automatically monitor water use. To program the unit, you simply enter an interval in hour increments up to 48 hours and then enter the amount of flow not to be exceeded in that time. If the total flow in the time period is less than the total volume selected, then the system resets and begins totalizing the next interval. If the total volume exceeds the pre-set amount, then a relay will be activated to initiate an alarm, autodialer, valve or other device.
The FT522 also includes a scaleable pulse output that can be used for flow logging or to trigger an externally paced chemical metering pump. A 4-20 mA output can be sent to a chart recorder or SCADA system for flow recording. Electronics are sealed in a rugged NEMA 4X enclosure that includes hardware for mounting on either the wall or a sensor.
Note: The FT522 accepts all SeaMetrics flow sensor outputs EXCEPT for battery-powered sensors.
