- Service life often 15 times that of standard packing
One of the longest lasting packing materials available anywhere. It is easily the least expensive packing for applications in which standard packing materials have to be periodically replaced. Runs cool due to excellent lubricity. High thermal conductivity transfers heat quickly. pH range 0 to 14, 550°F, 4300 fpm rated. Low coefficient of expansion requires fewer break-in procedures. Very non-abrasive. Holds up well in warm, moist environment and will not crumble, harden, shrink, swell or become brittle. Easy to install and remove.
