- SVS sensor provides connection of FLO-DAR to FL1500 flow meter
Surcharge Velocity Sensor (SVS) installs on Hach FLO-DAR flow sensors with optional SVS provision. FLO-DAR sensors with the optional SVS feature (surcharge velocity sensor) provide continuous readings should the sensor become partially or entirely submerged. Additional sensing technologies—including an electromagnetic device for velocity and a pressure transducer for level—automatically take over sensing responsibilities during these conditions. A true 4-in-1 design ensures long field life and no planned maintenance.
SVS includes 30'L cable with bare wire ends for use on a FL1500 flow meter. Cable length of SVS sensor should match same length of FLO-DAR sensor standard cable used.
Note: SVS sensor and cable require input port on connected FL1500 meter separate from that of the FLO-DAR sensor.
