The DuraHoist portable confined space system is designed for worker safety and fall arrest in manhole and confined space entry/retrieval applications. It's ideal for pump/lift/valve stations, storage tanks, clarifier tanks, platforms and mezzanines and more. Lightweight, manageable components allow for easy set-up and transport. Modular design lets you easily assemble and dissasemble multiple configurations without tools.
Portable and Fixed Base Options
This system includes a standard base. It also allows the use of various fixed and portable bases of your choice. Choose from these four optional bases to best fit your application (purchase separately).
1. The floor mount sleeve mounts to horizontal concrete or steel structures. Choose from stainless steel (stock # 330567) or zinc-plated (stock # 330566).
2. The barrel mount sleeve (stock # 330570) with a 3.5" opening has eight independent clamping screws that allow temporary installations over edges of shoring cans, walls and other structures.
3. The core mount sleeve is designed for slip-in installation into a 4" diameter core hole in concrete or in an existing steel structure. Choose from stainless steel (stock # 330572) or zinc-plated (stock # 330571).
4. The vehicle hitch mount (stock # 330575) installs into a 2" receiver on an attendant vehicle to provide a portable anchor point for confined space entry/retrieval.
Optional zinc-plated (stock # 330573) and stainless steel (stock # 330573) sleeve caps keep dirt and debris from getting into the opening of various sleeve mounts.
Accommodates Miller winch devices and support systems. The DuraHoist can accommodate multiple winch devices. The winch & hoist mounting bracket is a bracket assembly required for mounting support options. We recommend the Miller ManHandler® Hoist/Winch (stock # 73753) as the primary support and the Miller MightEvac® SRL (Self-Retracting Lifeline; stock # 73748) as the back-up device.
Maximum working load for this product is 450 lbs.
