PEX-a Blue Tubing, 1/2" x 100' Coil
Description
- Approved for water service lines and burial applications including being buried under concrete
- Flexible, durable and easy-to-install
- PEX A has a higher burst rating and is more flexible than PEX B.
Use PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) tubing for new installations or to replace copper or lead water supply lines. PEX A is more resistant to burst pressure than PEX B. PEX A's expansive material can handle up to 500 PSI, which makes it reliable in extremely cold temperatures. PEX A is also more flexible and you can easily bend it without kinking or deforming. It has flexibility to bend around corners, reducing the number of connection points needed. Available in 100 feet coils, allowing longer runs and fewer connections, reducing cost, time and potential leak points.
PEX-A is resistant to scale and corrosion, which increases its longevity and ability to maintain water quality. PEX can expand and contract, making it less susceptible to damage from freezing and thawing compared to rigid pipes. Blue tubing is often used to identify cold water lines.
- Length: 100 feet
- Minimum working temperature: 33°F @ 160 psi
- Maximum working temperature: 200°F @ 80 psi
- Maximum working pressure: 160 psi @ 33 to 70°F
- Approvals: NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, NSF/ANSI 14 - PEX 5306, AWWA C910
